Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 19 Jan 2021

The  SgxNifty Future is trading at 14,536.20 up with +1.74% percent or +249.00 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 28,660.00 up with +1.67% percent or +470.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 29,487.00 up with +2.26% percent or +651.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: Domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading positive on Tuesday. BSE Sensex jumped 450 points to reclaim 49,000-mark, while the broader Nifty 50 index crossed 14,400. Except for HDFC Bank, all BSE Sensex constituents were trading in the green led by Bajaj Finance and IndusInd Bank shares. State Bank of India and Maruti Suzuki were among other gainers. All Nifty sectoral indices were trading with gains in Tuesday’s upbeat session. Nifty Media and Nifty Realty indices were top sectoral indices, up over 2 per cent. Asian stock markets were trading mixed in early trade with South Korea’s Kospi rising 1.62 per cent. Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 1.41 per cent while the Topix index gained 0.63 per cent.

For the day the  nifty closed at 14,466.05 up with + percent or  +184.75 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 28,633.46 up with +percent or +391.25 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 29,489.27 up with + percent or +626.50 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 30,814.26 with a loss of –percent or  ?177.26 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,768.25  with a loss of – percent or –27.29 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 12,998.50  with a loss of – percent or -114.14 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 28,256.50 with a loss of –percent or ?262.68 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,803.19 up with +percent or +229.33 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,598.11 up with + percent or +31.73 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 48,656.23 with a loss of –percent or –378.44 point at 12:15 PM.
