The SgxNifty Future is trading at 18,208.80 up with +0.35% or +64.20 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 28,630.00 with a loss of -0.31% percent or -90.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 26,097.50 up with +0.04% percent or +11.50 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The frontline equity indices on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) erased their early gains and were trading over 0.5 per cent lower in the early afternoon deals on Thursday weighed by market heavyweight Reliance Industries (RIL) and information technology (IT) stocks.
At 12:22 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 434.50 points (0.71 per cent) at 60,825.46, while the Nifty 50 was at 18,152.95, down 113.65 points (0.62 per cent). Both the indices had begun in the green but gave up their gains within an hour into the trade.
PREVIOUS DAY ACTIVITY
Fintech company Fino Payments Bank has decided to float its public issue on October 29. The price band and lot size are likely to be announced later this week.
The Fino Payment initial public offering (IPO) will be the second issue to open for subscription this week after Nykaa’s Rs 5,352-crore offer.
The offer comprises a fresh issue of Rs 300 crore and an offer for sale of 1.56 crore equity shares by promoter Fino Paytech, which has 100 percent shareholding in the company. The offer includes a reservation of Rs 3 crore worth of shares for the company’s employees.

For the day the Dow is trading at 35,677.02 up with +0.21%percent or +73.94 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,544.90 with a loss of 0.11% percent or –4.88 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 15,090.20 with a loss of –0.82% percent or –125.50 point.
In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 28,592.43 with a loss of –0.74% percent or –212.42 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,145.37 up with +0.071% ercent or +18.44 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,593.36 up with +0.30% percent or +10.76 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 60,830.57 up with +0.015% percent or +8.95 point at 12:15 PM.
