The  SgxNifty Future is trading at 16,915.50 up with +0.72% or +121.25 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 26,878.00 up with +1.20% percent or +318.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 22,818.00 with +0.71% percent or +161.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

After some respite from selloff on Friday, stocks once again came under selling pressure on Monday, following a 5 per cent surge in oil prices after Russia put its troops nuclear-ready amid harsh sanctions on its banking system by the West.

For the day the  nifty closed at 16,793.90 up with +0.81% percent or  +135.50  point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,844.72  up with 1.20% percent or +317.90 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 22,886.43 with 0.76% or +173.41 point.

For the day the Dow is trading at 33,223.83 up with 0.28% percent or +92.07 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 4,288.70 up with  +1.50% percent or +63.20 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 13,473.58 with +3.34% percent or +436.10  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 26,476.50 up with +1.95% percent or +505.68  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 22,772.15 with a loss of –0.57% percent or –129.41 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,449.56 up with +0.57% percent or +19.66  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 55,939.99 with 2.59% percent or +1,410.08  point at 12:15 PM.
