A major tech rout in US markets, the worst since 2011, has sent shock waves across major markets and the domestic market looks headed for a major gap-down opening on a day when October series futures and options contracts are due to expire.
The Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX Nifty) indicated a gap-down opening for domestic equity market today.
At 8:30 am, the SGX Nifty was 101 points, or 0.99 per cent, down at 10,136.
