Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 24 Feb 2020

The  Sgx Nifty Future is trading at 11,891.50 with a loss of -1.19% percent or -143.00 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,452.50 with a loss of -3.60% percent or -837.50  point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 26,684.50 with a loss of -1.90% percent or -515.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Nickel prices on Monday fell by Rs 4 to Rs 928.30 per kg in futures trade due to reducing of positions by speculators amid subdued demand at spot market.

Copper futures on Monday traded 0.98 per cent lower at Rs 426.05 per kg as speculators reduced their exposure on weak spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 4.20, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 426.05 per kg in a business turnover of 1,263 lots.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,853.05 with a loss of  –1.67% percent or –455.76   point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,031.23 with a loss of –0.28%percent or-8.44  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 40,783.77 with a loss of –0.94% percent or –386.35 point at 12:15 PM.
