The  Sgx Nifty Future is trading at 8,979.00  with a loss of -1.40% percent or -127.50 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 19,065.00 with a loss of -2.13% percent or -415.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,215.00 up with +1.90% percent or +451.00 point.


Big corporates and wealthy individuals, categorised as “client” by the NSE are trading very light on index futures — Nifty and Bank Nifty — amid curbs by market regulator Sebi to rein in excessive volatility during the nationwide lockdown.

Clients most often take contrary positions to foreign portfolio investors (FPIs). However, their outstanding net longs in index futures were only 2,720 contracts on March 27. They were net short 3,765 contracts on January 13, just four trading sessions before the Nifty hit a record high of 12,430.50 on January 20.


 For the day the  nifty closed at 9,032.35 with a loss of -79.55 percent or -1.03% point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 19,043.40 with a loss of –2.33% percent or –455.10 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,300.33 up with +1.38% percent or +329.96 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 23,719.37 up with +1.22% percent or +285.80 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,789.82 up with +1.45%percent or +39.84  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 8,153.58 up with +0.77% percent or +62.67 point.
