Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 24 June 2020

The  Sgx Nifty Future is trading at 10,458.50 with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,337.50  with a loss of -0.99% percent or -222.50 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,789.50 with  a loss of -0.65% percent or -162.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

 Sensex and Nifty recovered from afternoon losses and traded higher, backed by rally in auto stocks on Wednesday. However, trades were cautious in domestic market amid weakness in Asian indices including Nikkie, Hong Kong and SGX Nifty. Sensex was rising 150 points higher at 35,600 and Nifty gained 56 points to 10, 527. Earlier at opening bell, Sensex rose 250 points higher at 35,679 and Nifty climbed 58 points higher at 10,529. On Tuesday’s trade, Sensex ended 519 points higher to 35,430 and Nifty climbed 159 points higher to 10,471. Meanwhile, companies set to announce their earnings are Indian Oil, Balmer Lawrie, United Breweries, GAIL, Canara Bank, Prestige, Anup Engineering, Rane Holdings among others.

 For the day the  nifty closed at 10,453.20 with a loss of –0.17% percent or -17.80 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,534.32 with a loss of –0.065% percent or -14.73  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,779.82 up with –0.51% percent or  -127.52 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 26,024.96 up with +0.59%percent or +153.50 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,117.86 up with +0.65% percent or +20.12 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 10,056.48 up with +1.11% percent or +110.35  point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 22,549.05 up with +0.50% percent or +111.78  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,762.71 up with +1.03% percent or +251.37  point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 2,971.87 up with +0.22% percent or +6.60  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 35,141.81 up with +0.66%  percent or +230.49  point at 12:15 PM.
