Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 05 Oct 2020

The  SgxNifty Future is trading at 11,524.00 up with +0.73% percent or +83.80 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 23,288.00 up with +0.50% percent or +115.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 23,762.00 up with +0.05% percent or +12.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Edelweiss Asset Management Company has launched a domestic and world healthcare index fund, in partnership with MSCI. The New Fund Offer (NFO) which will open tomorrow, marks MSCI’s entry into India’s passive fund space. The fund will invest in 45 stocks and have a 70:30 domestic global split, giving investors the benefit of equity taxation in India. 70% will be invested in the top 25 healthcare stocks in India based on market cap while 30% will be invested in 20 US healthcare stocks. The US stocks will consist of the top 5 stocks by market cap from 4 sub-industries – pharmaceuticals, healthcare equipment, biotechnology and life sciences tools and services.

For the day the  nifty closed at 11,525.75 up with + percent or +108.80 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,312.14 with +percent or +282.24 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 23,767.78 with + percent or +308.73  point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 27,682.81 with a loss of –percent or  ?134.09 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,348.44 with a loss of – percent or –32.36  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 11,075.02 with a loss of – percent or 251.49 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 23,312.14 up with + percent or +282.24 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 23,772.24 up with +percent or   +313.19 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,218.05 with a loss of – percent or –6.31 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,061.75 up with + percent or +364.70 point at 12:15 PM
