equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading lower on Thursday. BSE Sensex was hovering around 51,800 while the broader Nifty 50 index was ruling 15,250. ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra were among the top Sensex laggards. Top BSE Sensex gainers were ONGC, State Bank of India (SBI), IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Power Grid Corporation of India, among others. Nifty sectoral indices were trading mixed, with Nifty PSU Bank index gaining 3.3 per cent while Nifty Pharma lost nearly half a per cent.
