The  SgxNifty Future is trading at 17,121.00 with a loss of -0.01% or -1.25 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 28,568.00 up with +1.38% percent or +388.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 25,897.50 up with +0.55% percent or +141.50 point.

 

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Japanese shares jumped on Wednesday, with the Nikkei hitting a 1-1/2-month high, as investors bet Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga’s manoeuvring might help restore political stability. The Nikkei average gained 1.29% to 28,451.02, its highest close since July 14, having broken above key resistance levels such as the 200-day average at 28,281. The broader Topix rose 1.03% to a five-month closing high of 1,980.79.

China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,562.51 up with +0.52% percent or +18.50 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 57,523.05 with a loss of -0.051% percent or ?29.34 point at 12:15 PM.
