The SgxNifty Future is trading at 17,276.50 with a loss of -1.39% or -243.50 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 27,218.00 with a loss of -0.07% percent or -19.50 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,434.50 with a loss of -0.57% percent or -140.00 point.
TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
The frontline indices extended losses and were at day’s low in noon deals, down 1.4 per cent each. The BSE Sensex was 814 points down at 57,830 while the NSE Nifty was lower by 250 points at 17,266.On the Sensex, L&T was the top loser now, down 2.6 per cent, followed by HDFC Bank, Bajaj Twins, Dr Reddy’s and Infosys. SBI, Tata Steel PowerGrid, NTPC, Tech M and Reliance were the only six gainers on the Sensex. Meanwhile, the Nifty50 index had only 10 stocks in the green.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 27,226.43 with a loss of –0.78% percent or ?213.56 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,506.27 with a loss of –0.27% ercent or ?67.02 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,430.82 up with +2.06% percent or +69.38 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 58,018.33 with a loss of –1.07% percent or ?626.49 point at 12:15 PM.
