TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS
Equity benchmark indices bounced back after Sensex surged over 200 points. in the late morning trade, down 31 points. The Nifty was trading below 9,300 mark, down 25 points.
The Nifty Pharma index took a breather after a multi-day winning streak, the index is trading lower by 0.62% on the BSE.
Dr Reddy’s and Cipla fell 2% each, followed by Lupin and Aurobindo Pharma, which are also down 1% on the Nifty Pharma index. On the flip side, Sun Pharma, Glenmark, Biocon, Cadila and Piramal were slightly up.
