Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 25 May 2020

The  Sgx Nifty Future is trading at 9,073.00  with 0.00% percent or 0.00 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 20,908.00 up with +1.64% percent or +338.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 22,686.00 up with +0.84% percent or +188.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Outstanding positions in Nifty futures in the May series are at the lowest level in a decade as traders remain uncertain about the market direction after the recent rebound.

Open interest or outstanding positions in the Nifty May series fell 0.4 per cent on Tuesday to 73.93 lakh units. Nifty futures open interest on the April contracts expiry day stood at 96.1lakh units. Usually, open interest is above 1 crore shares, said analysts.
