India’s largest tractor manufacturer and a leading maker of utility vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra, is likely to report a sharp year-on-year (YoY) decline in its March quarter revenue and may see a similar impact on its profitability due to a steep fall in its domestic wholesales of passenger and commercial vehicles. The domestic wholesales fell on account of the economic slowdown (January) followed by disruptions to procure raw material from China due to the coronavirus outbreak in February and the nationwide lockdown imposed from 25 March to contain the virus spread in India.
