Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 21 Oct 2020

The  SgxNifty Future is trading at 11,958.20 up with +0.52% percent or +62.35 point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 23,558.00 with +0.12% percent or +28.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,738.50 up with +0.97% percent or +236.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The market is pricing in a large stimulus package in the US, which could result in incremental fund flows to EMs like India. “If this happens, Nifty could potentially test new highs, if not a breakdown to 11,500 or lower is in the offing,” said Rajesh Palviya, derivatives head at Axis Securities.

For the day the  nifty closed at 11,907.10 up with + percent or +10.30 point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 23,639.46 up with +percent or  +72.42 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,762.35 up with + percent or +192.81 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 28,494.20 with a loss of –percent or –19.80 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,483.34 with  a loss of – percent or  –5.33 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 11,713.87 with a loss of – percent or –54.86 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 23,410.63 with a loss of – percent or  –96.60 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,423.30 with percent or +264.76 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,336.36 with  percent or +4.18 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 39,982.39 up with +percent or +253.98 point at 12:15 PM.
