Sgx Nifty Futures Opening Update as on 22 June 2020

The  Sgx Nifty Future is trading at 10,237.00 up with +2.03% percent or +203.50point. The Nikkei 225 Future is trading at 22,397.50 up with +0.54% percent or +120.00 point.The Hang Seng Future is trading at 24,468.50 with +0.19% percent or +45.50 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Indian stocks traded higher on Monday lead by gains in pharma companies and banks. At 12:25 pm, the benchmark Sensex rose 211.20 points or 0.61% to 34,942.93 while Nifty gained 74.45 points or 0.73% at 10,318.85.

Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Private Bank and Nifty Pharma, surging over 2%, outperformed the benchmark equity indices and were top sectoral gainers.

 For the day the  nifty closed at 10,344.35 up with +0.98% percent or +99.95point.Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,437.27  with a loss of –0.18% percent or – 41.52  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,468.66 with a loss of –0.71% percent or  -175.23 point.

WORLD MARKETS

For the day the Dow is trading at 25,871.46 with a loss of -0.80%percent or -208.64 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 3,097.74 with a loss of –0.56% percent or -17.60 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 9,946.12 up with +0.031% percent or +3.07 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 22,456.78  with a loss of –0.098% percent or –22.01  point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 24,435.32 with a loss of –0.85% percent or –208.57  point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 2,964.12 with a loss of –0.12% percent or –3.52  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,879.61 up with +0.43%  percent or +165.12  point at 12:15 PM.
